Abstract

Considering not only the fact that carcinomas of the epididymis are extremely uncommon lesions but also the clinical- pathologic importance of their diagnosis aiming the proper treatment and prognosis, we describe a case of papillary cystadenocarcinoma of the epididymis and a review of the scare literature available. A 39-year-old man presented with a painless right scrotum swelling of 8 years duration. A radical right orchidoepididymectomy was performed and pathological examination showed morphological and immunohistochemical findings of a papillary cystadenocarcinoma of the epididymis with ovarian-like type epithelium.
